Here are examples of the types of cases I have handled successfully
over the past 16 years:
- Car accident where a school bus hit my client's
car resulting in back, rib and knee injuries. The result
was a six-figure settlement for my client.
- Case for malicious prosecution of a criminal case
against my clients, who were both in management at a fast-food
restaurant. My clients were wrongly accused of theft, and
sued after they were acquitted in the criminal trial. Result
was a six-figure settlement for my clients.
- Breach of privacy and defamation action against
an ex-domestic partner resulted in five-figure verdict for
my client.
- Anesthesia incident where the nurse anesthetist
placed the airway into the esophagus, not the trachea, leading
to brain damage of my client. The result was a six-figure
settlement for the patient.
- Nursing home resident was allowed to wander off
from the facility; later found dead in a creek. The result
was a six-figure settlement for the family.
- Failure to diagnose breast cancer in a young mother,
leading to her death. The result was a settlement for all
available insurance proceeds paid to her survivors.
- Misdiagnosis of a young girl, resulting in damage
to her kidneys. The result was payment of the six-figure
insurance policy-limits from primary defendant, after one
week of trial.
- A needle-stick injury to a L.V.N., replacing an
IV-needle for an AIDS patient, resulting in transmission
of HIV-infection to the nurse. The home-health care agency
was sued for failing to provide a safe working environment
and for allowing an L.V.N. to do a task she was not properly
trained for. The result was a six-figure settlement for
the family.
- Product liability/general negligence case where
escalator suddenly stopped, throwing woman back and seriously
injuring her back. The result was a six-figure settlement
for the woman.

only in facility for two weeks; lack of care resulted in
his death. The result was a six-figure settlement for the
family.

to stop lactation after birth; caused a stroke and brain
damage to a young mother, leaving her in a permanent vegetative
state. The result was a seven figure settlement for the
patient, and her family.

resulting in amputation of her leg. The result was a five-figure

in mis-diagnosis of cancer. The result was a six-figure

in loss of large portion of frontal lobe in child. The result
was a six-figure settlement for the child.
- Surgical mis-adventure where a man's heart was
cut with saw during a second open-heart procedure, and then
improperly repaired leading to his death. The result was
a six-figure settlement for his family.
- Misrepresentation by adoption agency and conflict
of interest by lawyers in an adoption proceeding where adoptive
parents were not informed of serious medical history of
their twin sons. The result was a seven figure settlement
for the family.
- Nursing home and hospital were sued after they both
allowed an older man to fall many times, resulting in
serious injuries, and ultimately his death. The result was
a six-figure settlement for his family.
- Car accident where my client was struck in the
side by a man who ran a stop sign. The result was a five-figure
settlement for my client.
- Car accident where my client's vehicle was struck
by another car making a left turn; resulting in trauma to
my client's heart; she was subsequently improperly treated
at the emergency room, and suffered a major heart attack
and died, leaving a husband and two children. The result
was a six-figure settlement to her family.
EVERY CASE IS DIFFERENT. SIMILAR RESULTS MAY NOT BE OBTAINED
IN YOUR CASE.
