The Dallas Legal Hospice is a non-profit legal services organization that provides timely and compassionate legal services to low-income people who have HIV/AIDS, cancer or other terminal diseases.

2001 Roll of Honor Award for successfully handling a case involving censorship of children's books. Elected as Trustee of the Freedom to Read Foundation in May 2006 for 2006-2008.
